Bernie's Grooming specializes in helping dogs, cats, rabbits and guinea pigs enjoy grooming. We have two locations, one inside the SF Animal Care and Control and our newest location on Lower Brannan Street near the Embarcadero. Our goal is to help each pet feel and look their best for their new life and adopted family. We have been grooming San Francisco pets since 1997. Our experienced staff grooms your pet as if they were their own with tender loving care. We use organic shampoo and conditioners that are the highest quality in the industry.
History
Established in 1989, we started Bernie's Pet Supplies in 1989 as a retail business on 18th and Valencia. In 1992 we moved to 25th and Valencia to be able to include pet grooming to the community. In 2006 we moved to the SF Animal Care and Control where we have groomed over 500 shelter pets for the shelter.
Meet the Owner
Bernie had her first experience with pets in Atlantic City, New Jersey, at the age of 9 where she feed, walked and bathed three beagles every day for $2.00 a week. It was meant to be that her love of animals would continue into a lifetime career
Bernie is one of San Francisco's top dog groomers and in addition to running two dog grooming salons, donates grooming services to the City of San Francisco Animal Care and Control shelter to ensure that the shelter dogs look and feel their best for their new life and adopted family.
